Fairhaven House is a residential and educational establishment for students aged between16-19. It
offers 52 week a year provision for up to five students.
Fairhaven House is situated in a rural setting on the
outskirts of Titchfield. We specialise in the support
and education of students who have a statement of special
educational needs issued by their Local Education Authority
and are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum.
Students are educated within a large homely environment,
which has an upstairs classroom and a separate Learning
Centre. The site is well equipped and has its own sensory
room.
Each student at Fairhaven House has an Individual Learning
Programme, designed to meet their specific needs. The
students follow individual timetables, which ensure
that all students have access to a wide and diverse
curriculum. Regular trips and activities in the community
are an important component of the learner's development
in order to support and reinforce their learning. Fairhaven
has a dedicated, experienced and highly skilled team
of staff who strive to support students in developing
their skills to their full potential. |
