McMenemy MBE Celebrity Golf Day (Wednesday 7th May 2008)
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the 4th Annual Lawrie McMenemy Celebrity Golf Challenge and helped raise over £16,000!
Lawrie was joined by 23 of his celebrity friends for the day at East Horton Golf Centre including Matt Le Tissier, Luther Blisset, Paul Jones, Nick Holmes and many more. 20 teams of 3 from local companies entered and became teams of four when a celebrity joined each team. The day started with beautiful sunshine and everyone enjoyed bacon sandwiches and coffee. The teams completed 18 holes of golf before reporting back for drinks and a prize giving dinner followed by a raffle an auction. We would like to thank Mike Osman for doing a brilliant job as compere. |
