35 runners took part in this year's Great South Run held on Sunday 25th October to help raise money for the Society. A special thank you to all our runners who took part, Premier Telecom for sponsoring the marquee, Swift UK for printing the running vests, O'Brien's, Fareham for supplying all the runners with food and to Clare from Body Balance who gave the runners leg massages before and after the race.
It was a brilliant atmosphere and even the weather was kinder this year and the runners were all in high spirits after their gruelling 10 mile run.
The date for next year's Great South Run is Sunday
24th October 2010 so anyone wishing to run, mark the date in your diary and contact the Kerry James in the Fundraising Department to try and gain yourself a place and help raise money for such a worthy local cause.
