Hampshire Autistic Society - Improving the quality of life for people with autism

Shaun Udal Celebrity Golf Day (Thursday 8th October 2009)

The spectacular and exclusive Remedy Oak played host to the 2nd Annual 'Shaun Udal Celebrity Golf Day' in wonderful late autumn sunshine. 22 teams of 3 amateurs were joined by celebrities from the worlds of both Cricket and Football in a bid to claim the title won in the initial tournament by Lawton Communications.

Tactical use of 'Mulligans' brought in extra income for the Society and gave players an added boost. The title was presented to the winning team Work in Style UK and their celebrity James Tomlinson during the post dinner awards ceremony, during which guests were entertained by Shaun hosting a Q&A session with Matt Le Tissier and John Crawley, before the selected auction lots raised a fantastic amount contributing to a fraction under £10,000 raised on the day.

A big thanks to all teams, celebrities, sponsors and Remedy Oak that ensured the day was such a fantastic success. We look forward to welcoming teams back to Remedy Oak on Thursday 7th October 2010 for the 3rd 'Shaun Udal Celebrity Golf Day'.
