Autism Awareness and Silly Sock Day (Friday 20th June 2008)

Schools, bands, and entertainers got together to help raise awareness of autism at WestQuay Shopping Centre on Friday 20th June. Shoppers were entertained and a collection was held raising hundreds of pounds.

We would like to thank the following for taking part:

Bellemoor School
Swaythling Primary School
St Winifred's School
North Baddesley Infant School
Silly Scott - The Children's Favourite Entertainer
Mojive - Southampton

Many local businesses and schools also got involved by holding a 'Silly Sock Day' and swapped their boring, dull everyday socks for bright, wacky ones to help raise awareness. We thank everyone who took part!
