Lakeside Family Fun Evening (Saturday 11th July 2009)
The annual Lakeside Family Fun Evening was once more a great occasion and enjoyed by all who attended. Despite being unable to rely on the British Summer, guests braved the rain to enjoy numerous train rides about the picturesque Lakeside Country Park.
A series of fun games and competitions were enjoyed by the children under the shelter of the station's platform, with face painting and barbeque dinner.
The event not only raised valuable funds but also helped raise the profile of autism.
We have our fingers crossed for more friendly weather when we stage the 2010
