The Quays "Eddie Read" Swimming and Diving Complex, celebrated its 10th Birthday on Saturday June 20, with a fantastic celebration event at the venue. The Society was delighted to benefit from awareness and monies that they raised throughout the day.

The complex now attracts over 750,000 visitors a year, is acknowledged as a centre of excellence for Diving and is currently ranked among the top ten venues in the UK for the Quest Quality Award Scheme, a nationally recognised framework.

The birthday celebration event included an array of fun activities, including a Corporate Triathlon Challenge officially started by athlete Iwan Thomas, and a 'Family Funathon', where adults and children alike will be given the chance to race for fun in giant Water Walkers and on Lilos. There was also the chance to take advantage of free gym inductions, sample exciting fitness and dance classes, kids face painting and the chance to enter a draw to win ten Years Free Platinum health and fitness membership!
