On Tuesday 3rd March, 34 teams of six entered the Concorde Club Quiz and tested their knowledge in areas such as art and literature, music and many more in a battle to win the victory shield and a magnum of champagne for each person. There were 10 rounds in total to complete and each team also had a joker card which they could choose to play before a round and get double points. The 8th round was also a snowball round. If a team answered all 10 questions correctly in that round they won the snowball jackpot of £400! Two teams managed to win splitting the monies equally. In the interval a delicious hot curry and poppadums were served and a raffle drawn raising money for the Society. We would like to say a huge thank you to Kirstie Mathieson for selecting the charity and Jamie, Ian and Geoff from the Concorde Club who organised the quiz and ran it on the evening and thank you also to everyone who came along on the evening to support the event and helped in raising over £500 for the society.
