Stoneham Golf Club, Captains Day (Saturday 20th June 2009)
We are delighted to be adopted by Club Captain Bob Houghton as his chosen charity to support during 2009. Bob is organising many events throughout 2009 on behalf of the Society and recently he held a Captains Day at Stoneham Golf Club.
People enjoyed 18 holes of golf with prizes on some of the holes, feasted on a sumptuous BBQ, followed by evening entertainment by The Groove Brothers throughout dinner.
A raffle was held on the night and we are delighted to tell you that the Captains Day was a huge success raising £3,000!
