Supply  Drivers

Salary Scale:

£7.30 per hour

Overview

"An excellent opportunity for flexible working to fit in with your busy life"

We are looking to recruit Supply Drivers to support our permanent drivers. If you are looking for flexible work that you can do as and when the Society requires, whether that be mornings or afternoons only or the odd day as and when you can, then why not become a Supply Driver.

The successful candidate will drive our students between Hope Lodge School, Bitterne and our Residential Units within the Southampton area. Minibus driving skills would be advantageous, however full training and support will be given. Candidates need to possess a positive, honest and friendly approach in order to provide a reliable service to our Students.

How does the Supply Bank work?

Being a Supply Worker means that whilst you are not actually employed by the Society you can join our supply bank to provide driver cover across any of our sites, during our times of need, such as staff absences.

The great thing about supply is that you have a choice whether you want to accept that particular offer of work. Once you have joined, the way it works is that we give you a call when a need arises for a supply driver and you decide whether you can do it or not.

Please note however, that under the supply team programme the Society cannot guarantee regular work, such work is only offered when the need arises only. However, this is the great thing about supply, if we have the work, we offer it, if you can come in that day great, if not, no problem!
