The Society offers services to both children and adults.
- Supports parent and carer Support Groups across the county.
- An Outreach
Officer is on hand to answer questions and offer
advice.
- An autism specific school
in Southampton offering both day and boarding facilities
for children from 6 years to 16. The Society has
a number of boarding houses, offering flexible boarding
packages up to and including termly boarding.
- Post-16 Units provide Further Education geared to
the needs of the young adults.
- Adult
Day Services and adult residential. The Society
has five community based houses offering up to 52
week accommodation, located close to the Day Service
Centre which they are able to access.
- Outreach
and advice services are available and a Domiciliary
Care Service is being developed which will include
supporting people in their own homes (on a one to
one basis or part of a shared household basis) work,
vocational and educational placements.
