Support Packages
The focus of our support packages are to be flexible and developed to meet individual’s needs through experiential learning. Support is outcome based for individuals and will focus on:
Maximising individual’s independence
We will support individuals to develop independence in:

- Social skills.
- Decision making and responsibility.
- Community access.
- Self development.
- Managing their home.
- Managing their finances.
- Developing relationships.
- Being safe and healthy.
To be Healthy
We will support individuals to:
- Be informed about the services available to them.
- Be able to recognise when they are unwell.
- Be able to access the services available to them.
- Be able to maintain a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
- Understand risks and consequences.
To be Safe
We will support individuals to:
- Achieve wants and wishes, utilising positive risk taking.
- Develop skills needed for personal safety.
- Develop skills needed for home safety.
- Develop the skills to be emotionally and physically safe.
- Develop skills needed for community safety.
To enjoy and achieve what an individual wants and discover different opportunities available to them
We will support the individual to:
- Be self aware.
- Be able to choose and make decisions for themselves or be supported in best interest decisions.
- Understand responsibility and consequences.
- Provide leisure, education and occupation opportunities.
- Personally develop and build their self esteem.
To be emotionally literate and understand how they and others feel
We will support individuals to:
- Develop and gain an understanding of expression.
- Gain an awareness and develop expression of emotions.
- Gain an awareness to identify feelings.
- Develop an understanding of how their actions impact on others.
- Develop self management and coping strategies.
- Develop and understand the benefits of relaxation techniques.
To be an active, comfortable and confident member of the community
We will support individuals by facilitating:
- Leisure, educational and employment/occupational opportunities.
- Opportunities to develop relationships.
- Access to community transport and facilities.
