Residential Options
There are different options available for residential students such as weekly, termly and up to 52 week boarding options. The Lodge and Whitworth Crescent are registered care homes, specific to accomodate pre-sixteen year old students
with a diagnosis of autism.
We provide up to 52 week boarding and all of our students attend Hope Lodge School from Monday to Friday which is situated within walking distance of both The Lodge and Whitworth Crescent.
The ethos of all of our residential homes is to support and encourage each individual to reach their full potential by developing their independence as part of the curriculum.
The houses offer a homely environment where each young person's bedroom is decorated to a high standard and the students are encouraged to choose their decor. There is a kitchen that is equipped to enable the students to have 1:1 cooking sessions, a lounge which is decorated to encourage a calm and relaxing atmosphere where students are encouraged to mix socially with appropriate support. Attached to the house is a learning resource room that can be accessed throughout the day and used in the evening for recreational activities.
