“Hampshire Autistic Society has been an enormous source of help, support and guidance for me in enabling us to get a referral for my sister to be assessed (and now diagnosed) with Asperger Syndrome. They have also given me a lot of useful information about Asperger Syndrome and autism. (Outreach) has been particularly supportive with regular emails and updates - and checking on our progress. Every question that I have asked (ranging from support for carers, holidays, transport independent/supported living, etc) have all been answered sensibly and practically and I feel confident that I can help my sister enjoy life much more since getting in touch with H.A.S and finding out some of what’s available for her.” Betty, 2011, sister of an individual we support
